Picking Your Puppy
We begin our selection process when the puppies reach 6-7 weeks old. By paying close attention to each puppy's personality and activity level, we help match you with the perfect companion for your specific lifestyle.
- Every Three Springs puppy goes home with a comprehensive starter kit including: vaccination records, starter bag of premium puppy food, microchip registration information, one month of complimentary Trupanion Insurance and a scent blanket or toy for easier transition.

To protect the health of our puppies, we maintain strict safety protocols. Visits are scheduled by appointment only after puppies have received their first vaccinations, ensuring a secure environment for our litters.
Adoption & Logistics FAQ
When do puppies go home?
Puppies are ready to transition to their new homes at a minimum of 8 weeks of age.Â
Transportation & Final Steps
- Transportation: We offer local pickup at our home, or can coordinate with professional flight nannies for long-distance travel.
- Final Steps: Contract signing and final payment are completed prior to the puppy leaving TSR.
Puppy Prep & Recommendations
- Nutrition: We feed and recommend Purina Pro Plan Sport Puppy to give your puppy the best nutritional start.
- Health Protection: For flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, we have a strong preference for NexGard Plus.
- Crating & Travel: We recommend Ruffland Kennels for safe and effective crating for vehicular travel. I am a strong advocate of dogs being secured in the vehicle. If a dog is not safely secured there is a risk of them not only hurting themselves in an accident but also you. There are other options if you would prefer to NOT use a crate.
